Mechanical Design
Concept, CAD, prototype and detailed design — through to installed, commissioned plant.
We offer a full range of mechanical design services, from a standalone drawing package through to design, build, installation and commissioning of complete plant. Clients come to us at any stage: a concept that needs developing, an existing design that needs optimising for manufacture, or a scope that runs start to finish.
Mechanical design and CAD development covers 3D CAD modelling, 2D engineering services, design for manufacture, design optimisation and technical documentation. Design for manufacture is where most of the cost on a mechanical scope is decided — a design that cannot be economically fabricated, transported or assembled is not finished, so we work back from how the equipment will actually be built, lifted and maintained.
Rapid prototyping takes a concept to something physical: concept models, functional prototypes, iterative development and prototype evaluation. It is the fastest way to prove a mechanism works before committing to tooling or a production run.
Industrial engineering design covers equipment design, mechanical systems, installation concepts and engineering documentation — the detail that turns an approved design into something a fabricator can quote and a fitter can install.
Crushing and screening plant is a particular strength. Quarry equipment takes abuse: structures carry heavy dynamic loading, material is abrasive, and downtime is expensive. That shapes the structural design, the material choices at wear faces, and access for the routine maintenance that keeps a plant running rather than needing a shutdown to reach a grease point.
We support every project the same way, whether it is design only or supply, install and commission. Where we hand over a drawing package, we stay available through fabrication and build. Where we deliver the equipment, we see it through to a plant running on site.
